Description
The late afternoon sun warms these cypress trees on a cool, windless spring day. Wading out for the shot in the mucky mud and cold water was a challenge in itself because of the uneven bottom, but the hard part was standing perfectly still for what seemed like an eternity while the water became dead calm once again; that water was COLD! It finally did become calm though and no wind came up to disturb the scene either thankfully. This image was captured at Dead Lakes near Wewahitchka, Florida. I hope you enjoy it.
