Description
Captured this while paddling on the Wacissa River one afternoon. It was the only Swamp Lily I saw all day, and it was well hidden under a low lying laurel tree branch. I consider Swamp Lilies to be one of the prettiest flowers in Florida. It took many shots to get a "keeper" as the wind kept blowing my canoe around, but I was well rewarded in the end.
