Description
When I began my hike, the entire basin was covered in pea soup fog, but as I walked the fog slowly began to lift. When I got to the saddle on Lost Mine Trail, I walked out on this point and was just awestruck at the beauty before me. The fact that 15-20 minutes before I arrived this was all covered and unviewable made it even more extraordinary. It was a wonderful day to be hiking and I had the trail also to myself, only seeing two and three only people or couples. The quietness is what I remember most. A most unforgettable day!
