Description
This Gulf Fritillary Butterfly (Agraulis vanilla) was just one of many butterflies, honey bees, and other flying critters having a wonderful day enjoying the beautiful flowers at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, near Newport, FL. Watching butterflies and bees is similar to watching an aquarium in that is so relaxing and enjoyable, but even more so because you are outside on a warm afternoon and can feel the breeze as well as hear the buzzing of the bees and wind blowing through the bushes and flowers. You just tend to lose all sense of time and certainly lose any sense of urgency.
