Description
I was so mad at myself on this morning because I was running about 15 minutes behind. While driving in the clouds had an unbelievably gorgeous pink hue to them, but by the time I arrived where I had planned to shoot them the pink was gone, and I was heartbroken. This was taken at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. I usually cruise at 10-12 mph inside St. Marks but this morning I had it pegged at 35 mph (the speed limit) but I was still too late to catch the pink. Still, it was a beautiful morning with the air so clean and clear and no wind to disrupt the water. A lovely way to begin your day.

I can relate to your story! My race against time occurs at sunset rather than sunrise.

This is an awesome composition of St. Marks Lighthouse, Bill, one of my favorite places in Florida!
